As a young climber, I met a mountain guide, François Aviolat, who encouraged me to follow the guide aspirant formation. That’s how this venture started and a few years later I obtained the Swiss Mountain Guide Certificate. The same year I graduated in Geology from University of Lausanne.

I’ve been lucky to be able to combine these two passions, which took place in the mountains.

The mountains in Greenland acted as a magnet for me, and I regularly returned there. My investigations for gold, diamond and base metals lead me to discover several further mountain ranges in British Columbia and Yukon in Canada, in Mexico and Guadeloupe, and in these last years Yunnan, Gansu and Guizhou provinces in China.

At this stage, I wish for you to also discover also these marvellous places, which have enchanted my life.
