The basic daily rate for a guide is 500 CHF (332 Euro) per day. This rate can be adapted according to the duration of contract, the length and difficulty of the route, and the number of participants. Transportation cost, food and accommodation for the guide are generally charged to the customer.

For the geological excursions, the basic rate is 400 CHF per day (266 Euro). All expenses for transportation, food and accommodation are also charged to the customer.

The General Contract of the Swiss Association of Mountain Guide indicates the specific arrangement to hire a mountain guide. A short note, to confirm the contract, will specify these conditions.
